Sheesh. Remind me again — why do I live in Minnesota??
For the absurdity of it all, I donned a pink bunny hat to shovel.
On To Happier Thoughts!
I have fond memories of my time as a clown on the circus. One of them includes when we performed on the White House South Lawn during the annual Easter Egg Roll. In between stage shows we were allowed to wander around the grounds.
I came across a band and started playing around. The conductor let me conduct a song. I was thrilled! After I finished, I remember asking them if they were the Salvation Army Band! They all burst out laughing — they were the official military band for the White House. Silly clown!
I had this picture taken of me by Tuba Heatherton underneath a huge collection of balloons they had prepared for a balloon release later in the day. To this day it is one of my favorite pictures. It seems like yesterday!
