Las Vegas has been good to us and was the perfect spot for a clown convention. However, we are still looking for the destination of the 2009 convention. Please check back soon for more information.

We believe that clowning needs to have one convention every winter that does not move around every single year. We also think it needs to be in a place where there is lots of shows to see, lots of things to do.
We think that Vegas is a great place to bring your spouse along, even if they hate clowning. We also think it is now kid friendly enough that you can bring your family along. We have plenty of events that are open to the public, so your family members don't even have to register for the convention in order for them to join in watching the events.

It also turns out that there are a lot of Ringling people working in Vegas. That makes it a great place to pick up a class from someone like Michael Godeau who opens in Vegas for Lance Burton. Michael stops in and teaches a class on creating material. We also usually get a class or two from a Circus Circus Alley clown. You never know who's gonna show up in Vegas.

Lastly, Circus Circus is the perfect place for this yearly convention. We have everything we need in the hotel and can get around the casino in makeup without any trouble at all. Where else can you "play" and "stay" with so much ease and safety?
